I just got a huge boost from a friend. I am now only $50 away from meeting my pledge goal for the Race for the Cure (this Saturday), thanks to my sweet friend Stephanie. I have known Stephanie since our college days in Arizona. We don't often keep in touch, but I think about her all the time. She works in geriatric care, managing long-term care facilities in Arizona (Steph, if this is wrong, I apologize). She has a big brain and an even bigger heart, and is one of the smartest, wittiest, most dedicated, most caring, most beautiful people I know. Steph, thank you so much for believing in me.
