Before we even had a chance to check her in she grabbed someone's soccer ball & started kicking it all over the field.
There are 6 members of the Purple Lollipops.
She follows instructions very well.
Mini drill
They had a 3 on 3 mini-scrimmage against the Green Gumdrops, and here she's on her way to scoring her first goal.
Unfortunately, she scored for the other team & here she's getting hollered at by #1. Good thing they don't keep score. She handles the ball pretty well for her age, but we need to work on getting her to be a little more aggressive on the field.

Looks like she is going to Love it. Soccer is a fun sport to watch kids play.
Joseph was a purple gumdrop too! He loves his shirt (wearing it right now) and it now makes a great pajama shirt!

So, Amy, does this officially make you a soccer mom, or does that title require a mini-van?
Oh Sweet Mary Sunshine - I never even thought about the soccer mom connection. I think I'll still resist that label until I aquiesce to the minivan. And that is NOT happening any time soon.
